- The Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA) is the professional association for Certified Public Accountants in Arizona. The ASCPA serves as a nonpartisan expert resource for all Arizona legislators and policymakers on matters of accounting, finance, tax and business. Representing nearly 5,000 Arizona CPAs, the ASCPA is the profession’s voice at the Legislature.
The ASCPA advocacy team – consisting of in-house government relations, contract lobbyists and expert, volunteer CPAs – reviews every piece of legislation introduced each session for impact on the CPA profession. The ASCPA’s Tax Legislation Review Committee analyzes all tax and finance related legislation to provide nonpartisan feedback on the mechanics of proposed measures to ensure there are no unintended consequences and that it achieves the intended objective.
