Issues:
Political influence: Hillary Clinton.
Budget recommendations: To increase revenue, we must revisit and review Arizona’s tax structure and tax loopholes. Also, we must look at alternative revenue sources presented by Arizona Budget Coalition. We must also cut wasteful spending and wasteful allocation of the state’s already strained budget.
Other concerns: Jobs, jobs and more jobs. Leading Arizona toward becoming the world leader in solar technology and innovation. Further increase interest and development in other alternative energies like hydro and wind. Further develop interest in bio-sciences. All these industries can create high-tech jobs that further improve revenue in the state.
Fiscal philosophy: Resources are scarce and we must use them smartly and effectively. Invest in programs and areas that can create a new or improved source of revenue, researching all alternatives before making an educated decision.
Background & experience: My various experiences in many fields have given me a broad scope of knowledge that I will use toward being an effective legislator.
Prop. 100 sales tax: I favor the sales tax increase because it will protect vital services like education, police and EMT that are imperative for our communities.
Pro-life/pro-choice: A woman’s decision with her body is between her doctor, her family and herself.
One last thing: I will work toward representing all the various communities of LD4.
Campaign Finance: public.
