Age: 36 (2/19/74, Framingham, MA).

Arizona since: 2006.

Occupation: Director of academic partnerships, Link-Systems International; owner, FMG Partners (marketing and public relations).

Marital: Married (Casey, homemaker).

Children: 4.

Religious preference:
LDS. Education: Attended BYU Idaho, studied marketing.

Political experience: None.

Interests: Music, golf and reading.

Issues:

Political influence: Steve Yarbrough.

Budget recommendations: The way to increase state revenue is to cut taxes and decrease unnecessary regulation.

Other concerns: Job creation and education.

Fiscal philosophy: Jobs solve a lot of problems. One area we can make a big impact is with small businesses. More than half of the jobs in Arizona are small business jobs. A tax cut that would include small businesses would create jobs and increase state revenue.

Background & experience:
My experience as a business owner helps me to understand what it takes for business to be successful. My experience working with higher education leaders has taught me that our education system is broken.

Proposition 100 sales tax: I oppose the sales tax increase. I believe it to be a temporary and insufficient solution.

Pro-life/pro-choice: I am pro-life.

One last thing: We need to hold our state leaders responsible for job creation. The fact that the jobs bill was tabled this year is very concerning. I am pro business and I believe that tax cuts and deregulation are the best solution to stimulate our economy and entice national and international businesses to come and work in our great state.

Campaign Finance: private.
