Issues
Political influence: Philosopher and economist, F.A. Hayek.
Top priority: Repeal of America’s restrictive quota system for legal immigration.
Respected opponent: Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) because of his forthright honesty and clear principles.
Wall St bailout: It was reprehensible and wrongly executed. It was not necessary, as the Federal Reserve has shown it had sufficient authority under previous law to provide liquidity to the economic system.
Stimulus Act: It has been a political boondoggle, bailing out government employees and unions, and it has yet to show any results to stimulate the private sector economy.
Health care overhaul: I strongly oppose the nationalization of health care, so-called ObamaCare, because it moves the providing of health services farther away from consumer choice, transparency in prices and costs, and imposes massive new regulations on an industry already forced to carry extremely heavy costs due to government regulations since the 1940s.
