Top priority: Reducing the size and cost of government. Working to repeal the incredibly irresponsible nationalized health care plan. Implementing real security for Arizona’s border and finding a real solution to illegal immigration that emphasizes enforcement and does not allow for amnesty.

Respected opponent: Instead of naming one person, I would say that I admire the few Democrats in Congress who have had the courage to stand up and oppose the liberal agenda being pushed by the Obama administration. They stand in stark contrast to my opponent Harry Mitchell who has become nothing more than a rubber-stamp for the president.

Wall St bailout: The Wall Street bailout was an ill-thought out piece of legislation that was one of the most fiscally irresponsible laws this country has ever seen.

Stimulus Act: The stimulus plan and the costs associated with it were never going to work like the Obama administration would have the American public believe. It was yet another example of the fiscal irresponsibility of so many politicians in Washington.

Health care overhaul: The “federal health care package” or more aptly the first step in the nationalization of our health care system was, simply put, a very bad idea. It is another example of the willingness of the Obama administration to sacrifice our fiscal future to put in place their liberal agenda.
