Legislative District 11 Republican candidate Dusti Morris dropped out of the race Aug. 4.
Morris, who had ties to Tea Party groups, said she did polling that concluded even with major campaign spending the best she could finish in the five-way race was third.
“It doesn’t make sense to throw good money after bad,” she said.
Left in the race is Shawnna Bolick, Bev Kraft, Kate Brophy McGee and Eric West.
