Republican Gov. Jan Brewer and Democratic challenger Terry Goddard are scheduled to deliver back-to-back addresses to the League of Arizona Cities and Towns’ annual meeting.
The Thursday appearances in Glendale are taking place two days after Brewer handily won her party’s nomination for the Nov. 2 general election.
Goddard, the state attorney general, was unopposed in Tuesday’s primary election.
The league meeting’s agenda Thursday also includes a panel discussion by top legislative leaders about the Legislatures 2011 session.
