If voters say yes, the operators of the first medical marijuana dispensary say they can open the doors a day after the election.

Gov. Jan Brewer's doctor, Dr. Gordi Khera, says she's in excellent health. The statement comes in response to about two weeks of internet speculation that the 66-year-old Brewer is in poor health and might not be able to serve a four-year term if elected Nov. 2.

Gov. Jan Brewer insisted Tuesday her health is fine despite what she called "outlandish and completely unsubstantiated" Internet blog posts suggesting she might not be able to serve a full four-year term.

Legislative budget analysts project that 66,000 Arizonans would register under a proposed medical marijuana program that is the subject of a November ballot question.
