Arizona campaign finance regulators don't think Gov. Jan Brewer and Republican organizations violated any state laws or rules through fundraising and other activities involving the Republican Governors Association.

Attorneys for the Arizona Democratic Party filed a complaint alleging that the state GOP, the Republican Governors Association and Gov. Jan Brewer's campaign violated a host of campaign finance laws.

Gov. Jan Brewer could be getting a big financial boost from national Republicans in her bid to be elected to a full term of her own.

The Republican Governors Association appears to be paying a lot more attention to Arizona than its Democratic counterpart. The RGA has about $1.2 million in its Arizona political action committee, compared to just $4,500 in the Democratic Governors Association Arizona PAC.
