Mills to file petitions for Arizona governor's race

Republican gubernatorial candidate Buz Mills is already on the airwaves with campaign ads but his next move is to get on the Aug. 24 primary election ballot.

Mills’ campaign says the Yavapai County businessman will file nominating petitions on Wednesday, the filing deadline.

State Treasurer Dean Martin also still needs to file petitions to run in the Republican primary for governor.

Candidates who already filed petitions in the governor’s race include Gov. Jan Brewer and Tucson attorney John Munger on the Republican side and Democratic Attorney General Terry Goddard.
