Interests: Traveling in our RV, when time permits.

Issues:

Political influence: Did not respond.

Budget recommendations: 1) One way to increase revenue is to make Arizona more business friendly by lowering taxes to retain and attract business/industry. Private business creates wealth not more government. 2) Offer incentives (i.e. merit pay) to employees that recommend cost savings that can be implemented in their departments and agencies.

Other concerns: 1) Jobs, the economic stability of the state and our local communities. We need to put people back to work to make Arizona fiscally healthy. 2. We need to secure the border and protect the citizens of this state. People need to feel safe in their homes, property and communities.

Fiscal philosophy: I consider myself to be a conservative. I believe in the free-enterprise system and in personal responsibility. Government should be more careful how it spends taxpayers’ money.

Background & experience: As a former state representative and as the former chairman of the Cochise County Republican Committee, I have the experience and have traveled the district and know the issues that are important to the people in the district. As a self-employed successful business woman, I know the challenges the business community has.

Proposition 100 sales tax: Hopefully the recently passed temporary sales tax dollars make it into the classroom to benefit the students and teachers so student achievement can be increased.

Pro-life/pro-choice: I’m pro-life.

One last thing: I’m a strong supporter of the protection of property and water rights, and our Constitution. I promise to work hard and represent the people in my district.

Campaign Finance: private.
