Christian.

Education: Associate’s degree, respiratory therapist technologies, Apollo College, 1992.

Political experience: Precinct and state committeeman; LD22 treasurer for the Republican Party; worked on the Ron Paul presidential campaign; member and volunteer with Campaign For Liberty; helped with ballot signatures for the photo-radar initiative.

Memberships have included: The John Birch Society, Campaign For Liberty, and CameraFraud.

Interests: Politics and animals. I also ski and love outdoor activities.

Issues:

Political influence: Ron Paul.

Budget recommendations: I would pass a taxpayers bill of rights. Basically, the size of government cannot exceed the population or rate of inflation. De-regulation to allow the free markets to compete.

Other concerns: Health care and responsible solutions that will insure Arizona citizens who are most vulnerable still have coverage, but also ensure our budget will not be strained by loopholes and fraud in the system. Education also needs to be a priority.

Fiscal philosophy: Free markets and low taxes — allowing the private sector to compete.

Background & experience: As a mom, respiratory therapist and an Arizonan, I have been prepared. Our Legislature is supposed to be a citizen legislature, not comprised of all lawyers and professional politicians who are no longer representing the people from their districts.

Proposition 100 sales tax: Oppose. Taxes will only take more money from the people of Arizona. Learning to live within our means needs to be the precedence we set.

Pro-life/pro-choice: I am opposed to abortion, personally. However, I feel the law always lags society. Until we as a society deal with abortion and get to the root cause, all the laws we pass for or against it will not prevent it from happening.

One last thing: I am a person of reason. For too long we have abandoned reason as two parties push their agendas. Putting the people I represent and their concerns is my goal. Finding solutions that work and focusing on what matters. Rebuilding communities one at a time is what will get Arizona back on track. Neighbors helping neighbors, not dividing people further.

Campaign Finance: private.
