Issues:

Political influence: Ronald Reagan. Reagan succeeded in bringing America closer to the founders’ vision of our great nation in a time when conservatism and free markets were out of favor.

Top priority: Repeal Obamacare.

Respected opponent: Zell Miller (former U.S. Senator from Georgia), for always being himself in the face of political alienation and party revolt.

Wall Street bailout: No company or industry is too big to fail, and the government should have never enacted TARP or any other bailout schemes. Government must step out of the way and let the free market repair the U.S. economy.

Stimulus Act: I decided to run for Congress the day that the Obama administration signed the $787 billion stimulus package. The Keynesian mentality that controls the White House will bring about the complete collapse of the U.S. economy, and we need to stop this administration immediately. Stimuli do not work. Government cannot create jobs, as government has no resources of its own. Only the private sector can create jobs and better our standard of living through production and innovation.

Health care overhaul: We do not have a health care problem in this country. Rather, we have a health payment problem. This is because of the governmental control of over 50% of health care through Medicare, Medicaid and S-chip. I am a proud signatory of the “Repeal-It” pledge, promising to do all that I can to ensure Obamacare is repealed. (I am the only GOP candidate in the CD-8 primary to do so.) I oppose Obamacare and the rationing of health care. We must reform tort laws to lower health care costs for all Americans. I support a “health care court” in lieu of the current lottery system that encourages egregious lawsuits in order to stop defensive medicine and rising malpractice costs.
