Interests: Traveling in our RV, when time permits.

Political influence: Ronald Reagan and his principals of less government, lower taxes and belief in the free enterprise system.

Job creation measures: In order to encourage a good job market we need to send the message: “Arizona is open for business” and address tax policy and reduce unneeded regulations.

Top Issues: JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, and a strong economy is a top priority. Protection of private property/water/and states’ rights. We need to get education dollars into the classroom for the students and teachers.

Prop 100 sales tax extension: I oppose extending the temporary sales tax. Sales tax is a regressive tax. People will buy big ticket items out of state and that will hurt Arizona businesses. It was sold to the voters as a temporary tax and should remain temporary.

Illegal immigration: We need to secure our borders and enforce current laws. We need safe communities and we need to protect Arizona citizens. Drug and people smuggling must stop.

Background & experience: I am completing my sixth year in the Arizona Legislature. I have been involved in local, state and national issues for many years.

Pro-life / pro-choice: I am pro-life.

One last thing: I promise to continue to work hard for my constituents and the state of Arizona. My door will always be open to address issues and concerns especially for LD 14 and rural Arizona.
