About Legislative District 9

District 9 is located entirely in Pima County and includes the north-central and northwest Tucson metropolitan areas east of Interstate-10 and south of the Santa Catalina Mts. The unincorporated areas of Casas Adobes, Catalina Foothills and Flowing Wells are also included.

Minorities represent 31.5 percent of the total population and 27.0 percent of the voting age population.

It includes portions of former legislative districts 26, 28 and 30.
