Two biggest issues: Improving public education standards and jobs. I would address the public education problem facing our state by finding and implementing creative measures for funding our public education
system. An improved educational system, in my opinion, would cause prospective employers to take note of it.

Budget priorities: Maintaining a balanced budget would be a priority. We must work hard to identify and cut needless expenditures while at the same time searching for innovative ways to increase revenues in order for Arizona to thrive in the 21st century.

Fiscal philosophy: My fiscal policy will be one of allocating public funds where they will best benefit the citizens of Arizona and not the least needy among us.

Common Core: Arizona should continue to implement Common Core. We must always be looking for ways to improve our student’s chances for success in an ever-changing
world. One way to accomplish this is by improving curriculum and advancing educational standards. We must be innovative in preparing our students for life after high school.

Gifts to elected officials: I don’t know enough about this matter to comment at this time.

Transparency in government: I strongly support transparency in government. Transparency and public notice to the community provide the electorate the means to become and
remain active in local and state politics and to support the issues that are of most importance to them.

Pro-life / pro-choice: I am pro-choice. Government should not come between a woman and her doctor concerning this issue.

Public policy advice: I turn to the people in my legislative district, candidates and legislators who I’ve come to know over the years.
