Two biggest issues: Education and taxation: I would like to eliminate Common Core and work on creating an education curriculum that works for Arizona. How about we add civics to the curriculum. Make fewer school districts across the state. Evaluate the non-essential personnel and put more money in the classroom. Let’s try to balance the sales tax across the state. We should also be evaluating how to either lower or eliminate state income taxes.

Budget priorities: Education, medical assistance to the needy and elderly, and taxation. The state need to evaluate the sales tax across the state and, hopefully, level it. We need to review how we can lower or eliminate the state income tax. We need to repeal Medicaid expansion and create a program to take care of our folks in need. We should look at the public sector to assist in this process. Let’s repeal Common Core and create a school system that works for Arizona.

Fiscal philosophy: Don’t spend more than you bring in, simple.

Common Core: No, we are destroying our education system, and the students are the ones who will pay in the end and the state’s economy will suffer. We need a program that works for Arizona.

Gifts to elected officials: I would love to see a ceiling on gifts for all state and federal elected officials. Not sure what we have right now.

Transparency in government: I think it is very important. Folks today do not trust any form of government primarily due to the fact that they have no say it what happens. We need to win back the trust and faith of Arizona’s citizens. Tell them what’s happening, give them a voice in our lawmaking. They need to participate.

Pro-life / pro-choice: I am pro-life. The morality of this country needs some improvement. How can the government fine someone $10K for messing with an Eagle egg and support the abortions 10,000 babies?

Public policy advice: Mostly Sen. Steve Smith. He has been voted the number 1 conservative in the AZ House of Representatives. He is a real friend of the taxpayer. He lets all his constituents know every week what bills are being brought up for vote. He allows the folks to know what is happening at the House and Senate. I do talk with other folks, since most of my friends are conservatives.
