Two biggest issues: Education:restoration of public education funds to 2008 levels; lower tuition costs; increase state university and community funding; restore 9th grade JTED funding. Jobs: make economic development efforts more efficient; attract more high paying jobs to Arizona.
Budget priorities: Balance the budget by eliminating tax inequities.
Fiscal philosophy: Fiscal responsibility by balancing our budget to reflect the needs of public education at all levels and reforming the tax structure toward greater equity.
Common Core: Yes, in order to better prepare our students to succeed in education and job opportunities as well as to position Arizona in a more advantageous position to compete for business attraction.
Gifts to elected officials: Yes, ban gifts to elected officials.
