About Legislative District 18

District 18 is located entirely in Maricopa County and includes parts of Phoenix (including Ahwatukee), Chandler, Tempe and Mesa. It is bounded on the north by Southern Ave., on the east by Country Club Dr., and on the south and west by the Gila River Indian Community.

Minorities represent 29.7 percent of the district’s total population and 26.6 percent of its voting age population.

This district includes parts of former legislative districts 17, 20 and 21.
