Long-time Arizona Clean Elections Commission executive director Todd Lang is leaving his post to work as assistant U.S. attorney.
Lang will be working for the U.S. Attorney’s Civil Enforcement Office in Arizona. He has run the state’s public financing system for candidate campaigns for seven years.
He told the Arizona Capitol Times that he’s itching to get back to court. “It’s time to go back to the court instead of just being a witness or observer,” he said.
He starts with his new job on May 20.
