Former State Transportation Board Chairman Jack Husted has been named to the Arizona Game and Fish Commission.

Gov. Jan Brewer named Husted to the five-person board on April 3. He will replace William McLean, whose five-year term ends this month.

Husted, a Springerville resident, has years of experience in public service. In addition to his time on the Transportation Board, he has reserve game ranger for the Game and Fish Department, a Pima County sheriff's deputy and a town councilman in Eagar. He has also served on a number of community boards, including the Northern Arizona Council of Governments and the Springerville-Eagar Chamber.
