‘Beyond a long shot’: Beset with money woes, candidate for governor pitches a tent (access required)

John Lewis Mealer acknowledges that his odds are extremely long and his campaign finances are virtually nonexistent. But he isn’t letting that stop him from seeing his long-shot gubernatorial bid through to the end, even if he has to sleep in tents instead of hotel rooms on the campaign trail.
