Dozens of Phoenix high school students who walked out of class are protesting Donald Trump’s presidential win at the state capitol.
Roughly 200 students left Carl Hayden High School and walked to the statehouse Wednesday afternoon.
Some armed with megaphones led chants claiming Trump is not their president.
Others held signs railing against the Republican presidential-elect.
Officers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are monitoring the scene. They told protesters that they could continue demonstrating outside but would not be allowed to block access to any buildings.
The walkout took place shortly after noon.
Students at two other Phoenix high schools staged similar walkouts Tuesday to demonstrate against Trump and Republican Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who lost his re-election bid.
