Last week, the state struck down a decades-old law prohibiting education around safe homosexual lifestyles.

What led to the removal of the so-called “no promo homo” law 28 years later?

The move was so widely celebrated that everyone seems to have forgotten the other very important thing the new legislation did. With just one bill, the state reversed an antiquated law and saved millions in federal funding.
