Brewer-appointed privatization commission issues long-awaited report, recommends more privatization
The Commission on Privatization and Efficiency released its long-awaited report, nearly eight months after it was originally scheduled for completion.

The House Feb. 8 approved two more measures aimed at filling in a $1.4 billion deficit this year and paving the way to bridge a substantially larger shortfall in the upcoming year, but two more bills still await action.

Once again, lawmakers adjourned, only to see Gov. Jan Brewer veto parts of the budget they passed. And once again, Brewer announced her intention to bring them back into special session to deal with the consequences.
