Arizona unemployment rate remains at 8.7 percent
Arizona's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 8.7 percent in February as most sectors of the economy added jobs amid gradual improvement in the state's economy. State Department of Administration economists say seven of the 11 major sectors gained jobs, three lost jobs and one was flat.
Ariz.’s jobless rate reaches 9.2 percent in July
Arizona's unemployment rate rose a half percentage point in July to reach 9.2 percent. The state's seasonably adjusted unemployment rate remains just below the national jobless rate, which was 9.4 percent in July.
