Darin Mitchell, the legislative candidate who was removed from the November 6 ballot yesterday after a Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled that he did not live in the district he planned to represent, has filed an appeal.
Clemency board rejects inmate’s bid for mercy
The Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted against commuting Robert Towery's death sentence to life in prison. Towery, 47, is scheduled to be executed Thursday for the murder of a Paradise Valley man two decades ago.
