Referendum against immigration law could delay implementation by years

A citizen referendum could put Arizona's new illegal immigration law on hold for more than two years, depending on when its organizers turn in the required number of valid signatures. A group calling itself One Arizona filed paperwork with the Secretary of State's Office on April 28 to begin a petition drive to overturn S1070.
