Familiarity breeds receipts: Arizonans more often give to pols than PACs

When Arizonans open their wallets to make a political donation, it’s more likely to go to someone they know than to a party or PAC, an analysis of federal campaign data shows.

Donations from Mesa, Gilbert fuel Romney’s fundraising edge in Arizona

Sen. Kyl refuses to give back Fiesta Bowl cash

The Fiesta Bowl shouldn’t expect to be receiving a check from U.S. Senator Jon Kyl any time soon, as he has rejected a request from the beleaguered bowl to return political contributions made by its employees.
