Attorney Tom Ryan, who represents former AG staffer and Horne campaign volunteer Sarah Beattie, repeatedly declined to comment yesterday on whether he filed complaints against Horne with any law enforcement agency after submitting Beattie’s complaint to the secretary of state’s office and Citizens Clean Elections Commission.

Former Horne staffer alleges rampant election law violations in AG’s Office

A former Arizona Attorney General’s Office employee who did volunteer work for Tom Horne’s re-election said she and other employees routinely violated state laws by doing campaign work on taxpayer time, and that Horne himself encouraged and was aware of the unlawful activity.

Former AG staffer tells Horne to prepare for litigation over election law violations

An attorney representing a former Attorney General’s Office employee who resigned over alleged violations of campaign laws within the office officially demanded that Attorney General Tom Horne preserve electronic and other records in preparation for complaints to elections officials and a possible lawsuit.

Horne staffer, fundraiser resigns citing campaign violations

A staffer at the Attorney General’s Office who volunteered as a fundraiser for Tom Horne’s re-election campaign resigned over what she called violations of campaign law within the office.
