New energy regulators take oath

The state’s two newest energy regulators took their oath of office today. And for their first official act, Doug Little and Tom Forese helped to elect incumbent Susan Bitter Smith as the Arizona Corporation Commission’s new chairwoman.

Ducey to be sworn in as Arizona’s 23rd governor today

Republican Doug Ducey becomes Arizona's 23rd governor today, ascending to the ninth floor of the state Capitol's executive tower amid the challenge of overcoming a budget shortfall while enacting an agenda that won him voter approval.

The website for the 57th Presidential Inauguration tells people who want tickets to contact their senator or representative in the 113th Congress.

That assumes you can find your representative and he has an office, someone to answer the phone or even an official website.

Stanton to be sworn in as Phoenix’s new mayor

Phoenix Mayor-elect Greg Stanton will be sworn in Tuesday as the top municipal leader of America's sixth-largest city. He will succeed term-limited Mayor Phil Gordon.
