Voters might have last word in Clean Elections
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted June 15 to advance a measure that would allow voters to decide the fate of Arizona's system of publicly funded campaigns known as Clean Elections.

His major complaint is that his participating opponents receive matching funds when he outspends them.
Quelland says he’ll challenge removal from House

Clean Elections hearing set for May 15; Decision on Quelland expected
The Citizens Clean Elections Commission is scheduled to decide whether to sanction and possibly remove District 10 Rep. Doug Quelland from office on May 15. Quelland, who ran a publicly funded campaign in 2008, has been accused of failing to report a $15,000 political consulting contract on his 2008 campaign finance reports.
