Senator Joins Task Force

Senator Jay Tibshraeny, R-Dist. 21, has been appointed to the Governor’s Essential Services Task Force.
The Task Force was formed in response to the recent gas crunch.
“The gas shortage was both a hardship and a wake up call,” Mr. Tibshraeny said. “It demonstrated how disruptive and dangerous an interruption in the normal flow of fuel can be to our community and our state. It is imperative that we carefully examine all aspects of what took place so that we can take measures to avoid being in this position again in the future.”
Mr. Tibshraeny is the only member of the Senate appointed to the group. —
