State Promotes Scenic Roads, Rural Travel

The state has launched a new interagency effort to promote travel to rural Arizona, offering Internet visits to scenic roads across the state.
A new Web site, www.arizonascenicroads.com, provides color photographs and other material intended to help visitors plan trips.
The site is a collaboration involving Arizona’s Department of Transportation, Office of Tourism and Arizona Highways magazine. It is funded by a Federal Highway Administration grant, Governor Napolitano’s office said. —
