Our highlight of the session was the decision to fund expansion of nursing programs in the state. The fact that there is a nursing shortage and that qualified students are being placed on long waiting lists to enter nursing schools, seemed to resonate with most legislators, regardless of party.
The Arizona Nurses Association is the only statewide professional association of registered nurses.
