Noah Clarke’s ideas about tax cuts are inimical to family values, and they should fall on deaf ears. Targeted tax cuts are good politics, but poor policy, Look Who’s Talking, Feb. 24
The pro-family tax cuts advocated by Governor Napolitano are aimed at giving tax relief to middle-class and working-class families. Conversely, Mr. Clarke’s suggested anti-family tax cuts would likely provide 98 percent of the benefit to the top 1 percent of Arizona’s taxpayers.
Giving sales and vehicle tax relief to middle-class and working-class families is great public policy, and Arizona could use more of this type of policy-making to move Arizona forward.
Thank goodness we have Governor Napolitano to veto the anti-family bills passed by our illiberal-controlled Legislature.
