Sen. Albert Hale, D-2, was hospitalized on Sunday afternoon in Boston after complaining of a headache and becoming ill at a restaurant.
Her daughter April Hale said he had had a MRI last night and the family is now awaiting results.
Hale is in good condition and is quite mobile, according to a statement from the family.
“He’s anxious to get back to work. He is very concerned about all that he’s missing in the Legislature,” April Hale told the Capitol Times this morning.
Ms. Hale said they were at a restaurant when his father complained of a headache. He had gone to the restroom to splash water on his face and became very ill after, she said.
Initial tests found no trace of an aneurysm or vessel rupture, according to Ms Hale. Apparently doctors did discover some bleeding in his brain.
“Once those (MRI results) are in and my father’s doctors locate the source of the bleeding and find the best kind of treatment, we’ll know a whole lot more,” she said.
“My father is a very strong man, resilient, and I know he’ll pull through very well,” she added.
