New Hires
Anthony Bowman has joined the Valley Metro Regional Public Transportation Authority (Valley Metro/RPTA) as the manager of Transportation Demand Management. He will head the rideshare account team, which works with more than 1,200 employers in the metropolitan Phoenix area in supporting their trip reduction efforts. He is also responsible for the transit outreach and education staff and the Valley’s Clean Air Campaign efforts, which include Valley Bike Month and Rideshare Week.
Valley Metro/RPTA is an organization of 14 local governments that provides or funds transit services to citizens in the greater Phoenix metropolitan and surrounding areas.
Promotions
Thomas Catlaw, assistant professor in the Arizona State University School of Public Affairs, was recently named to a six-year term as editor of Administrative Theory & Praxis, an international public administration journal.
Catlaw was with The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Municipal Management and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget before joining the School of Public Affairs faculty in 2004.

Legal
Craig Solomon Ganz has joined as an attorney in its Business Reorganization and Bankruptcy practice. Prior to joining the firm, Ganz was with Turley, Swan, Childers, Righi & Torrens, P.C.
Ganz earned a BS from the U of A and a JD from Southwestern University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and California, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Governmental Relations Committee.
Garland A. Brown, Jr. has also joined the Phoenix office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, as an attorney in the litigation practice. Brown has an extensive background in the technology industry, including 11 years with Microsoft.
Brown earned his BS and BA degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Policy from the University of Washington. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and is a member of the Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution sections of the State Bar of Arizona and the American Bar Association.
