The election may be over, but workers at the Maricopa County Recorder's Office are still hard at work verifying and recording the county's provisional and early ballots.
County election workers have tabulated 19,052 early ballots since Nov. 17, with only 8,532 left.
As far as provisional ballots, 60,683 were verified and recorded by the Recorder's Office in the last two days, according the county officials. Less than 4,000 provisional ballots remain.
The day following the election, the county reported receiving close to 118,000 early ballots and 100,000 provisional ballots.
Maricopa is one of a handful of counties that has yet to report the total counts for early and provisional ballots. All 15 counties are required by statute to submit an official election canvass by Dec. 1.
