Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell has posted the final update for the Nov. 4 general election unofficial results after completing the count of provisional and early ballots.
"We've tabulated 9,831 early ballots today." Purcell stated in a press release. "In addition to the early ballots, 5,030 provisional ballots were also counted, concluding our tabulation of the election."
Official results will be released after the county's canvass of the election at 9 a.m. Nov. 24. The canvass will occur at the Board of Supervisor's 10th floor conference room located at 301 West Jefferson Street in Phoenix.
Maricopa was one of a few remaining counties finishing ballot counts this week. The statewide canvass of the election is Dec. 1.
Here are the updated, unofficial results of close races across Arizona, according to the Secretary of State's Office:
Corporation Commission: Republican Bob Stump tallied 919,096 votes compared to Democrat Sam George's 916,743 votes. Stump appears to have won the third open seat on the state commission.
House District 10: Republican Doug Quelland tallied 22,656 votes compared to Democrat Rep. Jackie Thrasher's 22,103 votes. Quellan appears to have won the second House seat in the district.
House District 20: Democrat Rae Waters tallied 37,639 votes compared to Republican Jeff Dial's 36,964 votes. Waters appears to have won the second House seat in the District.
House District 23: Republican Frank Pratt tallied 36,804 votes compared to Republican John Fillmore's 36,203 votes. Pratt appears to have won the second House seat in the district.
House District 30: Republican David Gowan tallied 54,986 votes compared to Republican Frank Antenori's 54,262 votes. Gowan appears to have won the second House seat in the district.
