Martin’s wife died from ruptured tumor; funeral set
Kerry Martin, the wife of state Treasurer Dean Martin, died due to a ruptured tumor in her liver. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office said a hepatic adenoma, a type of rare benign tumor of the liver, ruptured during childbirth on May 25, causing massive internal bleeding, according to the Yellow Sheet Report. The Martins' newborn son, Austin Michael Martin, died two days later.
