Ducey says miscommunication caused freeway naming snafu

Gov. Doug Ducey said a “miscommunication” led to the scheduling and subsequent cancellation of an event to honor former Arizona Diamondbacks ace Randy Johnson with a sign on State Route 51, which was scrapped after Lori Piestewa’s family voiced concerns with the ceremony.
