Court delays enforcement of medication abortions law at least until May

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is going to keep a temporary hold on a state rule regulating medication abortions and put an appeal of a lower court’s ruling on the fast track.

Judge allows ban on medication abortions to take effect on Tuesday

U.S. District Court Judge David Bury issued an order late this afternoon rejecting a bid to block implementation while the legality of the 2012 law is litigated.

Ex-AZ congressman Rick Renzi gets 3-year prison term for corruption

A federal judge on Monday sentenced former U.S. Rep. Rick Renzi to three years in prison for convictions on public corruption, money laundering and other charges, capping a corruption case prosecutors said began more than a decade ago.

Judge wants to split Renzi case into 3 trials
