As someone who has spent the past several years defending Arizona businesses from charges of dishonesty, greed and self-serving, the June 21 letters by APS vice president of operations Mark Schiavoni and Arizona Investment Council’s Gary Yaquinto going after the solar industry caught my attention.

Fight over solar panel incentives heads to regulators

For months, Arizona’s largest utility provider and the solar industry have waged a public relations war over the future of the state’s solar energy incentives.

That fight now moves to the Arizona Corporation Commission, as the energy regulator formally begins consideration of opposing proposals from each side.
