Lewis camp considering legal action against fake Twitter account
For almost three weeks, a Twitter account posing as Jerry Lewis, the Mesa Republican running against Senate President Russell Pearce in an upcoming recall election, has posted tweets promoting gay pornography and illegal immigration, aligning Lewis with extreme liberal causes and calling out politicians who are backing Lewis.
Campaign says Lewis has more than enough ballot signatures
A spokesman for the man that many expect will provide Senate President Russell Pearce with the stiffest competition in November’s recall election said the campaign has already collected signatures from enough voters to get Jerry Lewis’ name on the ballot.

A Capitol railbird today said the letter of support for Pearce that Biggs and Pierce are circulating among caucus members was a bad idea. “I would not have done that,” the longtime Capitol observer said.
The irony is just delicious
Chuck Coughlin's comments last week that Republicans ought to side with Pearce or else face retribution from the Republican Party struck one Republican lawmaker as ironic, given Pearce's penchant for relentlessly attacking members of his own party who don't ascribe to his beliefs.
