Court questioning if police officer violated restaurant owner’s civil rights

A federal appeals court is questioning whether a Scottsdale police officer violated the civil rights of the owner of a restaurant when he essentially arrested him twice for the same alleged violation of one of former Gov. Doug Ducey's Covid executive orders.

Finchem still seeking donations to pay off his debt in failed bid

Mark Finchem is still trying to raise money this week to pay off what he said is the debt for his failed bid for secretary of state. In a new fundraising email to supporters on Wednesday, Finchem asked people to "donate $25, $50, $100 or more'' to "stand with election integrity'' and "fight the propaganda.'' US Supreme Court opts not to block ruling against illegal immigrant bail law

The U.S. Supreme Court this afternoon refused to hold up a federal appellate court ruling which voided an Arizona law denying bail to some people not in this country legally.
