Besides Senate President Tim Bee and Speaker of the House Jim Weiers, there are several leaders in the Legislature. Leaders are elected by caucuses after November elections in even years.
House Democratic leaders
With their numbers bolstered after the November elections, Democrats in the House of Representatives voted Nov. 9 to retain Phil Lopes of Tuscon as minority leader

Arizona’s House Republicans have chosen to keep House Speaker Jim Weiers of Phoenix in the chamber’s top leadership post for the next two years.
