Agreement allows readers to receive breaking news alerts on cell phones, PDAs
Arizona Capitol Times is now offering subscribers the option of receiving breaking news alerts via their cell phones or PDAs. Through an agreement with TextCaster, subscribers can sign up for the service at www.azcapitoltimes.com
“When news is breaking, our clients need to know and this is another option for them to stay on top of what’s happening at the Capitol,” said Ginger Lamb, vice president & publisher of the Arizona Capitol Times.
In the future, subscribers will be able to choose from an array of services to be sent to their cell phones or PDAs, including Capitol events, top news stories, closings of offices and streets around the Capitol, event cancellations, election news and more.
