  1. Our tee-aged, 1st-time job bus boys just received a 24% voter mandated pay raise, and my granddaughter with B.S. Degrees in Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Education will be getting a .4% pay increase. By the year 2020 the bus boys will be earning 48% more (… plus “tips”), and we are hoping that our teachers will have wage increases of up to 2.0%.Of course the bus boys weren’t at all surprised by the windfall since most have been raised to believe that you get trophies even when you lose. Then to add insult to economic injury, 58% of the AZ voters gave themselves a Lifetime Entitlement of a week paid-time-off which will cost private business employers (State employees exempt) an estimated $1.5 Billion/year. Welcome to the new world order of Direct Democracy.
