Minimum wage will rise in January, costs increasing

What would you buy for an extra $20 a week? A nice meal? A car mount for your phone? An extra four gallons of gasoline? That's the choice that will be facing Arizonans at or near the bottom of the pay scale in January when the state's minimum wage rises another 50 cents, to $14.35 an hour.

House passes bill to expand laws allowing sale of ‘cottage foods’ to public

Located in downtown Tucson, Café 54 serves as an employment training program for people with mental health conditions or developmental disabilities. In Arizona, more than 1 million adults have some sort of mental health condition – but about one-third do not get needed health care, often because of cost.
